Who We Are

Pete Velez

Head Brewmaster

Pete, a native of upstate New York, began his brewing career at a brewpub in Virginia. After working with the storied Brickskeller and Capitol City Brewing, Pete attended Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland for his Diploma in Brewing and Distilling. After, he became Head Brewer of Capitol City's Capitol Hill location, then spent time at Old Dominion and Gordon Biersch. He worked the last five years as an allied trade sales manager for Hopunion, LLC managing eastern North America. Pete’s time away from the brewery is spent with his wife Ellen, an Ohio native, their two sons and family dog.

Ned Bacon

Brewery Assistant

Ned is our new Brewery Assistant and studied at Siebel Institute of Technology with a recent degree in Brewing Technology! He enjoys playing board games, video games and spending time with his girlfriend and their 6 cats. We enjoy going to new breweries and trying new beers. Ned’s excited to get more hands on experience and welcoming this new opportunity to keep learning!

Ruby Thomas

Brewery Assistant

Ruby graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Business Administration. In her free time she likes to hang out with friends and vacation with her family! She is a member of the Pink Boots Society, an international non-profit for women in the beer industry. She is excited to be part of the Sibling Revelry team! 

Mike Hammond

Director of Sales

Mike, born in North Ridgeville, is SRB's Director of Sales and Marketing. Mike attended Kent State University, where he majored in Marketing. Mike went on to recieve his MBA from Baldwin Wallace in Systems Management. His hobbies include golfing, taking our graphic designer Max to lunch, boating on Lake Erie, and working on handy projects around his house.

Laney Holloway

Marketing Coordinator

Laney is originally from Youngstown, Ohio and graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Advertising. Laney’s admiration for beer led her on a journey working with breweries all the way from Ohio to North Carolina. Finally making her way to Lakewood, you can find her trying new beers around Cleveland, practicing yoga or hanging out with friends drinking more beer.

Max Harcsar

Graphic Designer

Max, a lifelong Clevelander, is the graphic designer for Sibling Revelry. He attended John Carroll University, where he majored in Communications. While there, Max worked as a teaching assistant for 7 semesters for two 400-level marketing classes. Outside of Sibling Revelry, you can find him stage diving at punk rock concerts and writing poetry. Max used to be straight edge, but now he loves wheat beers.

Matt Grabo

Staff Accountant

Matt handles all reporting, finances and invoicing for Sibling Revelry. He is a Kent State graduate with a background in food manufacturing. On the weekends, Matt can be found playing 18 with his buddies at a Northeast Ohio golf course. 

Mike Lucas

General Manager

Mike is in charge of supervising the daily activities of the brewery. He comes to Sibling Revlery with over 20 years in the service industry. Outside of running the taproom, Mike enjoys working on classic cars and playing his Mortal Kombat arcade game against his girlfriend. 

Christine Lee

Assistant GM

Christine comes to Sibling Revelry with 15 years of brewery and fine dining experience. She can be found throughout the day organizing the taproom and helping keep Mike Lucas sane. Christine is a avid gardener and cat lover. 

Evan Hurst

Beer Ambassador

Evan, a Westlake, Ohio native, is a lover of hoppy IPA’s and dark, heavy porters and stouts. His passion for craft beers stemmed from the abundance of high quality Ohio breweries including his first craft beer, a Fat Head’s Headhunter IPA in 2011. After college, he became nationally certified as a bartender at the Cleveland Bartending School. When offered the sales opportunity with a hometown craft brewery, it was an experience directly related to a passion that was too good to pass up. In his spare time, Evan enjoys watching Cleveland sports, playing a collectable card game called Magic: The Gathering, and spending time/vacationing annually with family.

April Buzan

April enjoys being outside in nature and spoiling her mini pin, Rarri! She loves being crafty and drawing in her free time. She also loves to eat and always down to try new places!

Pat Moran

Beer Ambassador

Pat hails from Westlake but currently lives in West Park. He worked in the beer industry for almost three years, including time spent at one of the largest beverage distributors in Ohio, before coming to Sibling Revelry. Once he heard through a mutual friend that a new brewery was opening, Pat knew he had to apply. He attended St. Edward High School and studied Visual communication technology at Bowling Green. Prior to Sibling Revelry, Pat worked as a photographer and print specialist for three years. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wiener dog Bailey, biking, golfing, playing basketball and attending as many Cleveland sporting events as possible.

Tim Swan

Beer Ambassador

AKA Swan Man. Tim was born and raised in Traverse City, Michigan. In 1997, Tim was part of opening the first brewery in north Michigan, the Mackinaw Brewing Company! He moved to Cleveland in 2000 and has spent most of his time managing bars and restaurants as well as working with FutureBrand as a sales rep, selling Absolut, Jim Beam, Dekyper, and many others!

Sibling Reverly Tap Room

Our taproom is where family and friends meet to grab a brew, talk about Cleveland sports and relax after a long day at the office. Unwind at our bar and enjoy a view of our brewhouse, or relive your childhood and play a board game. Weather permitting, enjoy a cold brew on the outdoor patio, perfect for friends and pups alike. For the constantly-connected, we offer free Wi-Fi and USB wall plugs to charge all of your devices.

Choose from one of our 22 beers on tap which includes a rotating selection of seasonal craft beers, limited releases, and our flagship favorites. Take your favorite brew to go in one of our growlers.

The tap room offers a rotating variety of visiting food trucks for you to fuel while we brew. From local favorites to up-and-coming underdogs, there’s always a new food to try.

For those with a curiosity about the ins and outs of brewing, personal tours will be available accompanied with a selection of beer samples.
